Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada, an Afghan American actor in the United States has appeared in numerous television shows. Born in Kabul Afghanistan her family fled her home country for the US and received refugee status to remain. She was born to a young age in Northern Virginia and is the second child in a family from two siblings. Ghanizada launched her television career through appearances on National Commercials. Ghanizada's role in the Laura Neri 2004 film A Kiss on the Nose as Chiara received her a nomination for Best Actress in a festival. A few of her TV roles are How I Met Your Mother Entourage Veronica Mars NUMB3RS The Wedding Bells NUMB3RS Psych and Castle. She has also appeared in a variety of independent comedies You Only Better and Blood Shot 2009. She also appeared in the science-fiction action film Blood Shot. Ghanizada was a part of The General Hospital spinoff General Hospital, which was broadcast on prime-time TV. Season 2 of Night Shift featured Ghanizada portray Dr. Saira Bhatra, a doctor who specializes in holistic medical practices. In 2009 Ghanizada played Kelly who was a Prada sales girl in HBO's Entourage and joined in the cast of the tv pilot Tough Trade from Weeds creator Jenji Kohan as well as executive producer T Bone Burnett.
