Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins who is also known as Antonietta Gonzales-Collins in the US as well as Mexico, is a Mexican-American sportscaster. She currently works as working as a sportscaster at ESPN and is an anchor of SportsCenter as well as hosting SportsNation. She joined ESPN as a news anchor in the year 2016. Her mother is the reporter for television Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins is bi-lingual and has been for a long time, starting at when she was nine years old. The ability to speak two languages has helped her get her first position at Univision, Miami. She worked as a producer for national programs like Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. After this, her CBS affiliate located in St. Petersburg employed her as a sport reporter. In 2009 she moved to Rio Grande Valley to work as a journalist for KNVO TV 48 Univision & Fox2 News. The stories she covered were about the issue of immigration and trafficking drugs in both Texas as well as Mexico. Also, she was a substitute for anchors of sports and weather forecasters. Her birth date was November 22nd the 22nd of November, 1985, in Mexico City. Also, she has a younger sibling. Her family relocated to Miami in 1992 following the departure from Mexico. Her parents divorced soon after and in 1995 her mother got married to an architect from the naval profession known as Fabio Fajardo who died of kidney cancer in 2006. The couple stayed at Canton Ohio with her older sister in the summertime, where she had been given the opportunity of a job. Antonietta, a high-school senior having a clear idea of where she would like her life to be, visited Mount Union University in order to find out what she could get out of the college. She loved the campus. The university also provided her with the program she was interested in. When she completed her high school education she attended the university to study media studies. Her professor Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU FM, and was student in the class, established a lasting relationship with the student. The passion he had for journalism as well as her self-confidence inspired her. In turn, she, tried to meet the standards he set and to not fail him.
